Rental Conditions

1. Platform role

RendiMarket is an online marketplace that connects item owners (renters) with people who want to temporarily use those items (customers). RendiMarket acts solely as an intermediary and is not a party to the rental contract. The rental agreement is made directly between the owner and the customer.

2. Rental contract

By confirming a booking, the owner and the customer enter into a binding rental agreement with each other. RendiMarket provides the platform and payment infrastructure but assumes no responsibility for the condition of the rented item, the actions of either party, or any disputes arising from the rental.

3. Owner responsibilities

• Ensure the item is in the condition described in the listing.
• Make the item available at the agreed time and location.
• Provide any necessary instructions for safe and correct use.
• Keep the listing information accurate and up to date.

4. Customer responsibilities

• Use the item only for its intended purpose.
• Return the item in the same condition as received, normal wear excluded.
• Return the item at the agreed time.
• Cover any damage caused during the rental period.

5. Security deposit

Some listings include a security deposit. The deposit is held by the platform and released to the owner in case of damage or returned to the customer after a successful rental. Disputes regarding the deposit must be raised within 48 hours of the return.

6. Cancellations

Cancellation conditions are set by the item owner in the listing. If no specific conditions are stated, cancellations made more than 24 hours before the rental start are fully refunded. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start may be subject to a cancellation fee at the owner's discretion.

7. Disputes

In case of a dispute between an owner and a customer, the parties should first attempt to resolve it directly. If no agreement is reached, either party may contact RendiMarket support at info@rendikeskus.ee. RendiMarket may, at its sole discretion, assist in mediation but is not obligated to do so and cannot be held liable for the outcome.

8. Liability limitation

RendiMarket provides the platform "as is" and is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the use of items rented through the platform. Both owners and customers use the platform at their own risk.

9. Governing law

These conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the Harju County Court.
